Panamá Díaz

Panamá Díaz, a visual artist from Málaga, uses art to encourage social change and to ask questions about the contexts we live in. Trained in fashion design in Málaga and in fine art in London, she recently completed a master’s degree in Equality and Gender at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Málaga.

She was recently awarded a grant to study in Colombia, where she developed the photographic project Las Buscadoras, working with the stories of women who were victims of the armed conflict and are searching for missing relatives. She will continue the project with a touring exhibition in Colombia and Spain during 2025.
